This webquest requires you to complete a timeline about Native American prehistory. By completing the timeline you will establish a framework for understanding how Native Americans arrived in the New World, and what cultures developed before the arrival of Europeans. To develop your timeline you will have to explore the archaeology of the New World; understand what the time periods and subperiods are, when these occurred, and what artifacts archaeologists use to assign archaeological sites to specific time periods.
Your response will take the form of about two typed double spaced pages illustrated as you see fit. Instructions are provided in the word document attached to this page.

An excellent response to a webquest will be a well-written couple of pages, illustrated with images, maps or diagrams, and providing the reference to the website(s) you investigated to gather the information. A good response will adequately address all questions, but may be weak on organization, poorly referenced or be marred by poor grammar, or typographical errors.
